Ansari, 23, has been named in the squad for the three-Test series against Pakistan which begins in Abu Dhabi on 13 October, having impressed with ball and ball for his county this summer.

"It's been nice to be able to contribute across all areas with bat and ball and be consistent. Last year was a good year for me and I've been able to maintain that going forward so that has been the main thing for me."
