Johanna Konta's fantastic run at the Wuhan Open has continued as she came from 5-1 down in the final set to secure a dramatic victory over world No 2 Simona Halep.
Having reached the fourth round at the US Open, Konta remains in superb form and the Brit once again showed she can match the game's best players as she won a thrilling encounter 6-3 3-6 7-5.
Halep - the top seed in Wuhan - is a rock-solid operator from the back of the court but Konta had the upper hand in many of the exchanges and now advances to face Venus Williams in the last eight.
