Coquelin crucial to Arsenal,says Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has underlined Francis Coquelin's importance to Arsenal, with the Frenchman having returned from injury ahead of Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Olympiacos.

Coquelin has developed into a key player at the Emirates Stadium in recent months, having returned from a loan spell at Charlton in December, but has missed the last two games due to a knee injury.

The 24-year-old has recently resumed regular training, however, and Oxlade-Chamberlain has hailed his team-mate.

"Francis has always been an amazing player," the England midfielder said at a press conference. "When you're at a club like Arsenal, sometimes it can be hard to find opportunities, but he's someone who has a great attitude.
