Oscar Pistorius prosecutors' appeal case will be heard on November 3, it has been confirmed.
The double-amputee Olympic athlete was sentenced to five years after being convicted of culpable homicide, similar to manslaughter, for killing Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
The appeal is taking place three months after Pistorius was made eligible for release from prison to go to house arrest.
Prosecutors appealed, claiming Pistorius should have been found guilty of murder.
Pistorius has said he cannot afford a new trial and his lawyer Barry Roux has argued it would be too long and complex.
