Sergio Aguero has been ruled out of Manchester City's Champions League opener against Juventus on Tuesday night.
The 27-year-old missed training on Monday morning and Manuel Pellegrini confirmed at a press conference after the session the striker's absence for the visit of the Italian champions.
Aguero suffered a heavy blow to his knee and was substituted after 24 minutes of the Premier League leaders' 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
