Paris Saint-Germain players will pay tribute to those killed during the attacks on the French capital by wearing special shirts for their next two matches, carrying the message “Je suis Paris”.

PSG, the Ligue 1 champions, will wear the shirts, which will feature the message in place of their usual sponsor, Fly Emirates, in the Champions League against Malmo in Sweden on Wednesday and at home against Troyes on Saturday.

A club statement read: “Paris Saint-Germain will honour the victims with a message in unison with the vibrant solidarity expressed by the French and international football community during the past days.”

During the attacks on 13 November, when 130 people died, France’s national stadium – the Stade de France – was targeted with three explosions outside the arena during the international friendly against Germany.
