League Cup quarter-final draw

Manuel Pellgrini's side are rewarded for their win over Crystal Palace with another home tie while Liverpool travel to Southampton and Stoke host Sheffield Wednesday

Manchester City will entertain Hull City in the quarter-final of the League Cup, while Middlesbrough's penalty shoot-out win over Manchester United has earned them a home tie with Everton.

Elsewhere, Southampton will welcome Liverpool in the only all-Premier League fixture in the last eight, with Stoke City hosting Sheffield Wednesday.

Boro advanced on Wednesday night after beating United on penalties — Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young all missed from the spot — following a goalless draw at Old Trafford.

Their reward for that win is a home match against Roberto Martinez’s Everton, who themselves reached this stage via a shoot-out win against Norwich City.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Man City side — who thumped Crystal Palace 5-1 — will take on Championship side Hull for a place in the final four.

Nathaniel Clyne's first half striker secured Jurgen Klopp’s first win in charge of Liverpool and set up a trip to Southampton, who eased past manager-less Aston Villa.

Finally, Stoke, who edged out Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea on penalties on Tuesday, will face off with Wednesday, who stunned Arsenal 3-0, for the final semi-final spot.

The ties will be played the week commencing November 30.
