Ali Carter claimed his first title since overcoming lung cancer as he beat Shaun Murphy to win the Paul Hunter Classic on Sunday.
Essex cueman Carter triumphed 4-3 at the European Tour event in the German city of Furth to earn the €25,000 (£18,000) top prize.
The two-time World Championship runner-up was pegged back from 3-1 ahead by Murphy but clinched the title with a break of 95 in the seventh frame.
Carter was diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2014 and underwent chemotherapy to beat the disease, a year after also having surgery to overcome testicular cancer.
