Manchester United’s Javier Hernández on verge of move to Bayer Leverkusen

Javier Hernández is set to end his five-year stay at Manchester United after he was spotted at Bayer Leverkusen on the brink of an £8.75m move.

Hernández, an unused substitute in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Swansea, spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and has failed to force his way into the plans of Louis van Gaal, who has turned his attentions to Monaco’s Anthony Martial.
After receiving £22m from Tottenham for Son Heung-min, Leverkusen have decided to move for Hernández on a permanent basis with the €12m fee being reported by the German sports magazine Kicker.
