Odemwingie enjoys winning debut for Bristol City
Bristol City secured a narrow 2-1 win at Fulham in an English Championship clash as Peter Odemwingie made his debut.
Odemwingie replaced Jonathan Kodjia in the 46th minute and the Nigeria international came close to scoring, but Ryan Fredericks made an excellent block to deny him a debut goal.
Fulham drew the first blood courtesy McCormack in the second minute. The Scottish striker took down Michael Madl's long pass before his exquisite lob from a tight angle left visiting goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell helpless.
Marlon Pack levelled scores for the visitors in the 69th minute while Lee Tomlin's last-gasp free-kick earned Bristol City a crucial comeback win to do little to ease Fulham's lingering relegation fears.
The defeat leaves Fulham just one point above the relegation zone, while Odemwingie’s Bristol are four points ahead of third-from-bottom Rotherham and the survival prospects of Lee Johnson's side could have been much better, had the Millers not come from 3-0 behind to draw with Derby.
