The Owena Waves’ defender has been kicked out of the Dream Team VI’s camp owing to fitness worries ahead Dream Team’s friendly against Rogério Micale’s side

Sunshine Stars’ Seun Olulayo and Diamond FC’s Chukwuebuka Iroha have been dropped from Nigeria U23’s squad ahead of March 24 international friendly against Brazil.

The Dream Team VI picked one of Africa’s slot for the 2016 Olympics having emerged champions of the Caf U23 African Cup of Nations in Senegal and will try out their strength against the young Selecaos.

The duo got shown the exit door for not measuring up to the standard expected of them in camp since resumption of training programme.

The crew stated it was disappointed with the level of fitness displayed by the duo who were part of the team that triumphed at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Senegal in December 2015, and warned that no player is guaranteed automatic shirt to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

And in a bid to beef up the Dream Team, the technical crew has extended an invitation to Rangers of Enugu player Obinna Nwobodo.

Both teams last met in 1996 with the Dream Team recording a 3-1 came back win to eliminate Brazil in the semifinals before beating Argentina 3-2 in the final to claim the Olympics football gold in Atlanta.
