Messi, Suarez & Neymar reach incredible goalscoring milestone

Luis Suarez's strike against Eibar, coming after Lionel Messi had scored two earlier in the game, ensured Europe's deadliest strike force brought up 100 goals in all competitions

Barcelona reached an incredible goalscoring landmark on Sunday as their superlative attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar achieved a combined 100 goals in all competitions.

Messi scored twice against Eibar in the Liga fixture, with his second a delightful 'Panenka' penalty, with former Liverpool forward Suarez also on target to bring the century up for the trio across all competitions.

The goal for Suarez ended a three-game run without scoring for the Uruguayan, while Messi's double against Jose Luis Mendilibar's men was his eighth in four games.

Neymar, meanwhile, missed out on getting in on the goalscoring action as he was suspended for the clash at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua, with Munir grabbing the other goal in a comfortable 4-0 win for the Liga leaders.

Of the 100 total goals in all competitions in 2015-16, Suarez has the most with 42, while Messi's two against Eibar took him to 35 and Neymar has chipped in with 23.
