Arsene Wenger revolutionized the Premier League but he won't win the title again

On Sept. 22 1996, Arsenal Football Club introduced their new manager to the world. And, in unison, the world said “Arsene who?”

Arsene Wenger was a little known French manager working in Japan when he was given the Gunners gig, but he went on to lead the team to glory while redefining the Premier League era through innovation.

On the 20th anniversary of his arrival in North London, we must reflect upon the incredible contributions Wenger has made to the beautiful game. But we must also note that the innovator has become stagnant. Because it is highly unlikely that Arsenal will win another league title under Wenger’s tutelage.
