Kyle Edmund has beaten fellow Englishman Dan Evans in the final of the ATP Challenger event in Dallas.
In what was the first all-British Challenger final for over 10 years, the No 2 seeded Edmund eased past his compatriot 6-3 6-2, which will move him back into the world's top 100 when the next ranking list is published on Monday.
The 21-year-old Yorkshireman - currently ranked No 102 - may even move above his previous highest position of 88 and stands an excellent chance of being selected to play singles at next month's Davis Cup match against Japan in Birmingham.
Evans, 25, who was unseeded for the hard court event in Texas, is likely to move from his current position of No 174 into the world's top 150.
The most recent all-British Challenger final came in 2005 when Alex Bogdanovic beat Mark Hilton.
Meanwhile, Britain's third highest ranked female Naomi Broady has reached the final of the Dow Corning Classic in Michigan where a victory over Robin Anderson on Sunday will take her into the top 100 of the WTA Tour Ranking for the first time.
