Great Britain's Federation Cup captain Judy Murray will coach Heather Watson for the next month.
Watson has been looking for a new permanent coach since splitting with Diego Veronelli - who decided he could no longer commit to travelling full-time with the British No 2 - in December.
Watson's season begins on Sunday at the Hopman Cup, where she will team up with Murray's son Andy in the British team.
She will have Murray as her coach throughout the Australian leg of the 2016 season which covers Hobart - where Watson will be defending the title she won in 2015 - and then the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Murray and Watson will then travel to Israel for the Federation Cup Group I event at the start of February.
