India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets to level T20 series in Harare

India recorded their first 10-wicket win in T20 cricket to level their three-match series with Zimbabwe in Harare.

Barinda Sran was the star for India with the ball, taking 4-10 in his four overs, as they restricted Zimbabwe to just 99-9 in their 20 overs.

Peter Moor top-scored for the hosts with 31 before he was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah, one of three wickets for the medium-pacer.

In reply, the Indian openers were rarely troubled early on and eased their way to 37 without loss at the end of the powerplay.

Mandeep Singh should have been on his way soon after though as he hauled out off the bowling of Chamu Chibhabha, only for a seemingly simple catch to be parried over the rope for six.

India never looked back from there on though, Lokesh Rahul (47no) smashing two maximums before Mandeep (52no) cut the ball away to the boundary to simultaneously seal the win and bring up his half-century with 41 balls to spare.

Zimbabwe will look to bounce back in the series decider on Wednesday, also in Harare.
