The Gunners duo made the most of the pop star's visit to the UK as they joined him for a training ground tour and dinner in London
Justin Bieber is in the UK as part of his Purpose world tour and it appears as though a man with some 88 million followers on Twitter can count a couple of Premier League footballers among his army of ‘Beliebers’.
Not wanting to let the presence of the American pop star at the O2 Arena pass them by, two of North London’s finest, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, jumped at the chance to rub shoulders with the Grammy Award-winner.
On Sunday evening, 24 hours on from Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City and the day after Ozil’s 28th birthday, Bieber was at the Gunners’ training ground for a spot of sightseeing.
He was shown around the impressive training facilities at one of world football’s biggest clubs by Oxlade-Chamberlain, with the England international making sure that he captured the moment on camera.
From there, Bieber headed out for a bite to eat with birthday boy Ozil, with the pair dining at London’s swanky Signor Sassi restaurant.
Bieber is still to play Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Glasgow before heading off across Europe, so there may be more mingling with UK football stars to come!
