‘Those stealing IDPs’ food will incur God’s wrath

The State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Ogun State, Pastor Dele Rosilu, on Friday condemned those stealing or pilfering goods and other materials meant for Internally Displaced Persons in their camps.

Rosilu while disclosing plans put in place to ensure that the forthcoming turnaround crusade by the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, scheduled to hold in Abeokuta next week goes on smoothly, told journalists that all those in the criminal act will not escape the wrath of God.

The cleric while noting that it was enough psychological trauma for someone to be displaced from his or her means of livelihood, and for another person to inflict more pains on them, warned those involved in the unholy practice to stop immediately.

He said, “It is unfortunate that people could be stealing or diverting food items and other materials meant for those who are displaced. These are people who are not working, already displaced from their means of livelihood.

“It is ungodly to divert food items or other materials meant for helpless people. If those doing this don’t repent, they will bring the wrath and judgement of God upon themselves.”

Rosilu, who said the crusade would ensure turnaround in economic sphere in the state and individuals’ lives, said it was time the church partnered with government to turn things around for good.
